Architecture between people and place.

Gallery of Vision

Alma

An architectural language moving between material, light, and precision. Every frame reflects the same worldview through a different moment of stillness, presence, and depth.

A minimalist living space in warm tones with a light sofa, natural walls, and clean lines.
STYLE 01

Organic minimalism

A meeting point between disciplined geometry, natural materials, and softer forms. Spaces designed to breathe alongside the people who live in them.

A bright interior with tall openings, soft natural light, and pale surfaces that emphasize the volume of the space.
STYLE 02

A dialogue with light

Light is the most transparent material in the design process. It is used to sculpt space and give it shifting depth throughout the day.

STYLE 03

Architecture of details

The whole is greater than the sum of its parts only when every part is handled with care. Bespoke joinery, material junctions, and millimeter-level precision matter.

A balanced living space combining natural stone, dark wood, soft furnishings, and gentle lighting.
STYLE 04

Materials that feel alive

Natural stone, brushed oak, and exposed metal. Materials are chosen to age with dignity and tell a story of authenticity and connection to the earth.

STYLE 05

A sanctuary of quiet

Bathrooms and wellness spaces that become a retreat from the outside world. Natural stone and clean lines create an atmosphere of complete calm.

STYLE 06

The first encounter

Entry spaces that combine warm materials with inviting geometry, creating a gentle transition from outside to in.

STYLE 07

Restrained drama

Kitchens shaped by dark, disciplined minimalism. Deep wood textures paired with natural stone create a timeless and luxurious expression.

The Studio

Quiet design,
lasting presence.

Chani Berger Lead Architect
Portrait of Chani Berger, architect and interior designer, standing in a bright space with natural light.

At Alma Studio, I believe architecture and interior design are far more than the creation of a beautiful space. They are a way of shaping a place that holds belonging, presence, quiet, and depth. My vision is to create homes and environments that feel truly right: precisely attuned to the people who live in them, their way of life, and the way they want to feel every day. I believe in rooted architecture, connected to the earth, to material, to time, and to people. Not architecture that chases trends or momentary gestures, but work that seeks strong foundations, timeless beauty, and a simplicity that carries depth.

For me, good design begins with genuine listening: listening to people, to their habits, to what is said and to what is not always easy to put into words. From that listening, a precise, sensitive, and deeply personal process takes shape, where every decision grows from meaning rather than appearance alone. I believe in honest materiality, natural tones, clean but never cold lines, and spaces that feel both stable and soft, refined yet alive.

The values that guide me are truth, precision, attentiveness, craft, simplicity, warmth, and loyalty to place, not only as a physical location, but as a deep feeling of home. I aim to create spaces for my clients that bring order, breath, and balance; spaces that allow real life to unfold within them through quiet, effortless beauty. Alma, to me, is a complete philosophy: a meeting of material and emotion, of practicality and aesthetics, of home as a structure and home as a feeling. It is design intended to hold full lives, family, hospitality, routine, growth, and memory, and give them a framework that feels exact, natural, and enduring.

The studio is backed by more than a decade of experience in mega-projects and complex buildings. Chani played a leading planning role in iconic developments such as Beyond (Tidhar), the flagship Givatayim project that combines a 70-story office tower with a 45-story residential tower.

Her professional background, developed at the leading firm Barel Levitzky Kassif (B.L.K), also includes large-scale projects such as Savyonei HaSharon in Netanya and the HaGdud HaIvri project. Today, those strategic planning abilities and international team leadership skills are translated into a boutique studio that offers personal attention and uncompromising architectural precision.

Core values

01

Humanity

A belief in the importance of warmth, sensitivity, and belonging in real life. A value that holds family, heart, and the desire to create relationships and spaces with softness, presence, and authenticity.

02

Truth

It matters to me to work from honesty and loyalty to what feels genuinely right. True precision begins with integrity toward myself, toward my clients, and toward the process.

03

Dedication

I believe with my whole heart that if something is worth doing, it should be done fully and with the greatest possible depth, care, and commitment.

Trust Proof

Beauty is not enough.
It matters who you trust.

The studio’s work rests on a rare combination of attentive human listening and proven experience with complex projects. The goal is to offer a precise, calm, and responsible process that remains professional even when working through constraints of time, budget, and execution.

Private project
“Choosing Chani came naturally to me, after all she is my daughter. When we decided to renovate the kitchen for the second time and add a safe room, Chani stepped in immediately. Unlike an earlier renovation where our needs were not heard well enough, she handled everything with outstanding professionalism and humanity. She listened to my dreams and helped bring them to life without compromising practicality or comfort. The renovation moved quickly, with very little time to prepare in advance, and still everything was done with calm and confidence. Chani introduced planning solutions and ideas I had never known before, and today I cannot imagine managing without them. She made sure everything was carried out in the best possible way. I have no doubt that whenever I need to in the future, I will choose her again.”

“Architect Chani Berger was part of the planning team for the Beyond project initiated by Tidhar, a project I managed. From knowing her both professionally and personally, I can say with full confidence that she is a high-caliber, hardworking, and exceptionally bright professional. Chani handled every task in the project, large and small, with initiative and genuine motivation to improve both the planning process and the final result. She is proactive, devoted, and committed to meeting goals at the highest level of quality. Alongside all of this, Chani is pleasant, intelligent, and brings excellent judgment and interpersonal skills. She integrated perfectly into the planning team and earned deep appreciation from the colleagues and managers who worked with her. I wish Chani great success in every path she chooses.”
